Start With Fresh Roses
The condition of the flowers you buy has the biggest impact on how long they’ll last.

- Healthy green leaves
- Bright, firm stems
- Fresh-looking blooms
Avoid:
- Flowers with heavily trimmed tops
- Mushy or discolored stems
- Any browning on leaf or petal edges
- Any drooping of individual flowers

It’s That Easy
- Fill your vase with the amount of water shown on the packet.
- Empty the liquid packet into the vase.
- Stir briefly.
- Trim stems and enjoy.
Set Up Your Roses (or Mixed Rose Bouquets)
Use a clean vase.
- Cut stems at a 45° angle for maximum surface to take in more treated water.
- Fill the vase with the amount of water recommended on your packet.
- Add Just Blúme and stir briefly.
- Place flowers in treated water.
- Check the water regularly during the first few days. Roses often drink surprisingly fast as they rehydrate after shipping.
- Keep flowers cool.
- Change the treated water every 7 days (or simply top off the vase with fresh treated water for easier care)
Avoid:
- Drafts/breezes
- Direct Sunlight
- Heating or air-conditioning vents
- Hot rooms
Tip: If topping off, mix fresh Just Blúme-treated water separately before adding it to the vase.
Pro Tips To Keep Them Beautiful
This is what we do to all the flowers in our photos:
- Use a clean vase.
- Never let the water become cloudy.
- Recut stems with every water change.
- Keep flowers cool
- Remove fading flowers (one drooping flower spreads a gas that makes other flowers fade faster)
What more can you do?
- Refrigerate arrangements overnight before a special event (its what florists do). We don’t do this in our tests because its not always realistic but it does work!
- Lightly mist petals to reduce moisture loss. Cént™ restores natural botanical fragrance at the same time.
- Keep flowers away from ripening fruit. This is often a hidden reason grocery store flowers can fade faster than usual.
- Use filtered water if available (minerals in tap water vary by location and can effect your flowers vase life)
